Hi, it is Sherry Ways again! On, Wednesday, May 21st both my business partner Susan Schemm and I read to the children at the Unity East of the River Health Center in Washington, DC. We had a lovely time and it was quite fun! We read a number of books and was welcomed warmly by Mr. Jessie Langston, Director of the center and Ms. Naima Hashim, Director of Volunteer Programs for Unity Health Care Centers. In addtion, we learned that we were first corporate celeberities to read at the East of the River Health Center! At this time I am reviewing the final drawings and presentation information in preparation for our BIG meeting next Wednesday, May 28th. On May 28th we will also be reading to the children after the design presentation. In addition, I am anxiously waiting to see whether or not a BIG CORPORATE sponsor will donate to this project. Hopefully, I will be able to announce that shortly. Stay tuned!
